The Victoria Chinatown Lioness club would like to thank our wonderful guests who attended our Chinese New Year event. We had another full house this year with guests who stretched their pockets WIDE OPEN so the club could raise funds to donate to various charities in town. And, of course, we would like to extend our thanks to our generous donors for their gifted items that we auctioned off for a record amount this year!
Guests had a chance to bid on live auction items such as the Chef Firefighters package where firefighters will come cook for you and friends, a flight to anywhere that WestJet flies, renting a luxury Mercedes for the weekend, and TWO all inclusive Island boat cruises. We also had silent auction items and huge raffle baskets up for grabs!
Thank you to everyone for making our main fundraiser a huge success! Net proceeds will go to local charities. Gung hay fat choy!!!
